NANCY ANN (FISHER) ELSWORTH
March 4, 1935-May 3, 2024
Nancy Ann (Fisher) Elsworth, lifelong Anderson resident, went home to be with her Savior on Friday, May 3, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born in Anderson, IN, to Carl Robert and Emma Wallace Fisher, on March 4, 1935 and graduated Anderson High School in 1953. She married the love of her life, Royce Walker Elsworth, on June, 3, 1956 at North Christian Church, in Markleville, IN and enjoyed sixty-seven wonderful years together.
She was employed as Cashier at Citizens Bank until she became the Head Cashier at Anderson College for ten years. She then returned as Cashier at Key Bank until her retirement in the 1990’s. She was an avid reader and enjoyed time with her family on vacations to Gatlinburg, TN. Later, she enjoyed cheering on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at their various sporting events.
She leaves to cherish her memory by her husband, Walker; son Jeffery D (Nancy Sue); daughter Lori Lea (Jerry) Scott; four grandchildren, Nathan (Dorothy) Elsworth, Lisle, IL; Zachary Rex (Melenda) Scott, Anderson; Ryan Keith (Rissi) Scott, Anderson; and Molly Elizabeth Elsworth, Carol Stream, IL; seven great-grandchildren, Carter, Kolbi, Griffey Scott; Bronx, Miller and Jordyn Scott and Oliver Elsworth. She was predeceased by her parents Carl, Emma and step-mother Pauline Fisher, brothers Robert, Donald and Bill Fisher and sisters Virginia Fisher, Sally Easterday and step-siblings, Janet Powell, Joanne Hatfield and James Lee.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1p.m. conducted by Pastor Robert Bell. Interment will be at East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson, immediately afterward.
