Obituary

Loc Van Le, 75, of Worcester died Tuesday, April 30th in Parsons Hill Nursing Home. He leaves his wife, Tuong Le; his father, Sung Le of Vietnam; his five children, Teresa Le and her husband, Kevin with whom he lived, Tung Le and his wife, Mai Le of Santa Ana, CA, Linh Le and her husband, Long Nguyen of Orange, CA, Tri Le and his wife, Ngoclan Vu of Lake Forest, CA, and Tuyen Le and her husband, Huy Nguyen of Daly City, CA; a brother, Phuc Le and his wife, Mai Do and his family of Baton Rouge, LA; several brothers and sisters in Vietnam; 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Vietnam, Loc’s life was a testament to resilience, courage, and the pursuit of a better future. In 1981, he embarked on a profound odyssey, leaving behind the familiarity of his homeland to embrace the promise of America. Loc worked as a carpenter after coming to the United States and then retired as a chicken farmer.
His dedication to faith was unwavering, finding solace and community as a member of Our Lady of Vilna Church. His presence within the congregation was not only marked by his devoutness but also his generosity and willingness to support others. Loc was a soldier with the South Vietnam Army.
Throughout his life, Loc remained a steadfast pillar of strength for his family and friends. His kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
His funeral is Friday, May 10th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 153 Sterling Street, Worcester. Cremation will follow in Rural Crematory, 180 Grove Street, Worcester.
